Amy's bedroom lies athwart a crack in the universe and the new Doctor has just 20 minutes to save the whole world.G

Live From Lincoln Center  "Renee Fleming @ The Penthouse"  The soprano performs Knoxville Summer of 1915 by American composer Samuel Barber in an intimate concert from the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Accompanied by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, she also sings compositions from her new pop and indie-rock album, Dark Hope. Appearing with her to present a collection of Broadway favorites and duets is vocalist Josh Groban.G

Great Performances  "The Thomashefskys: Music and Memories of a Life in the Yiddish Theater"  This program brings to life the words and music of the American Yiddish theater. The story's lead characters -- Bessie and Boris Thomashefsky -- also happen to be the grandparents of San Francisco Symphony music director Michael Tilson Thomas. Bessie and Boris emigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe in the 1880s, and while still in their teens, they began to play major roles in the development of New York City's Yiddish theater. D
