NOVA  "Ancient Computer"  NOVA follows the detective work required to discover what may be the world's first computer, an unpromising-looking lump of metal found in 1901 in a 2,000-year-old shipwreck. Researchers used data from high-resolution, 360-degree X-ray scans to decipher markings in the corroded bronze fragments to determine that it is an astronomical calculator and eclipse predictor.G
