The Desert Speaks  "Giants on a Galapagos Island"  This program visits one of the few inhabited islands in the Galapagos. Host David Yetman and ecologist Yar Petryszyn explore the people and culture of the island of Santa Cruz with a stroll through the market at Puerto Ayora. Then it's off to visit the Darwin Research Station and its famous saddle back tortoises, which are being reintroduced to the area after being hunted close to extinction. D

Back in New York, Lidia meets up with Pat LaFrieda of LaFrieda Meats to learn all about inexpensive and incredibly tasty cuts of meat. Sesame Street  "Elmozilla"  Baby Bear, Elmo, Telly, and Abby gather around a growth chart as Chris measures them and marks their height. Everyone has their own color lines on the chart, and can see how they've grown over time. When it's Elmo's turn, he sees that he grew only a little bit. D

Dinosaur Train  "Junior Conductor Jamboree/Troodon Train Day"  Junior Conductor Jamboree - Our kids ride the Dinosaur Train from one end of the line to the other, through all three Time Periods -- from the Cretaceous, through the Jurassic, to the Triassic. All along the way, they pick up friends who join them for a Junior Conductor Jamboree! Troodon Train Day - The Pteranodon family rides to Troodon Town to celebrate Troodon Train Day, where the main event is a concert by King Cryolophosaurus, giving his first performance in years! When King comes down with some last-minute jitters, Buddy and Tiny help him overcome his stage fright and he sings a medley of his hits, including the Dinosaur Train theme song!. D

Super Why!  "Rapunzel"  Princess Pea's kitten is stuck in the top of a tree! The Super Readers jump into a book and meet Rapunzel, who is also stranded high up in her tower. When climbing Rapunzel's hair proves to be (ouch!) a hair-raising idea, the Prince works together with the Super Readers to come up with a brand new rescue plan! Princess Pea discovers the value of a helping hand.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "A Plan for Sand/Whale Music"  A Plan for Sand - Nick and Sally are playing in their sandbox, but there's not enough room for them to build their castles. The Cat arrives to take them to the biggest sandbox they'll ever see! In the desert, they meet Carmela the Camel who teaches them about how camels are adapted to live in the dry, sandy climate. Whale Music - Nick and Sally have made a song to sing to their moms, but they can't get the ending quite right. D

Wild Kratts  "Stuck On Sharks"  Martin and Chris are on a mission to uncover the secret life of the mysterious Great White Shark. They use Aviva's incredible Remora Rocketsub to "stick with" a female shark and soon learn that the giant predator of the sea actually has lots of challenges to contend with and that she could help them discover something that no one has ever seen before - the birth of Great White shark pups. But when Gourmand sniffs around looking for ingredients for his Shark Fin Soup recipe, the Wild Kratts team must help rescue their new friend. D

Ucook! with Chef Bob   For the first recipe, Chef Bob uses great American grown zucchini blossoms, the flower of the zucchini plant. With that he uses his food processor to make a wonderful Wild American Shrimp mousse to stuff inside the flower itself. Covering the stuffed flower is a white wine pear tomato and opal basil butter sauce that is drizzled over the flower and baked to perfection. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Provence: Legendary Light, Wind and Wine"  Rick climbs Roman ruins in Nimes, explores a papal palace in Avignon, and savors vivid views immortalized by van Gogh in Arles. He crosses acres of wispy vineyards, explores the Cotes du Rhone and seeks out more wonders of the South of France.G

Undamming The Elwha   The KCTS9/EarthFix documentary tells the story of the Elhwa River, once dammed, now set free, following the determination that two 100-year-old dams were failing. The film includes historical photos and footage as well as interviews with those involved in the construction, operation and removal of the lower dam, the largest dam ever to be removed in the United States. Some of the footage used in the film is supplied by IdahoPTV and EarthFix Idaho reporter Aaron Kunz.G
