New Scandinavian Cooking  "Close to Home"  This episode finds Andreas at his farm in Southern Norway. There, he and Miles Irving, a British forager, look for wild herbs. Then, they cook a meal from ingredients they find in the fields, as well as beef from local farMs. Dishes include: wild Norwegian carpaccio, grilled sirloin with forest salad, and Sunday roast with oxtail sauce. America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Breakfast Standbys"  Man on the Street John "Doc" Willoughby challenges viewers to a blind oatmeal tasting to see if steel-cut really is better than instant. Then, host Christopher Kimball goes into the test kitchen with test cook Bridget Lancaster to learn how to make the best bowl of 10-Minute Steel Cut Oatmeal. Next, equipment expert Adam Ried is in the Equipment Corner reviewing his favorite moka pots, and Chris answers questions from viewers. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Entry"  Smith uses the Garden Home Retreat's grand front door and containers filled with herbs to demonstrate the design principle of entry. He also visits a plant in Indiana that has an exceptional recycling system.G

Dinosaur Train  "Dinosaur Camouflage/Family Scavenger Hunt"  Dinosaur Camouflage - Buddy and Tiny meet a shy dinosaur, Leslie Lesothosaurus, who is very good at hiding. The kids end up persuading Leslie to stop hiding, and come out to play with them. Scavenger Hunt - The Pteranodon family travels to the Big Pond for a Scavenger Hunt. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Super Cleaner Uppers/Itty Bitty Water"  Seaweed Superhero - Nick and Sally are cleaning up the backyard when they come across a yucky apple core. Who's going to pick it up? The Cat in the Hat takes them to meet the best cleaner-upper there is, Sandy the Sand Hopper! Sandy teaches them the difference between natural "garbage" and man-made trash, and how some animals use the natural garbage as food. Back at home, they put the trash in a garbage bag, and the apple core in the garden for Wriggles the worm to enjoy! Itty Bitty Water - Nick and Sally are about to dump out the water in their kiddie pool when The Cat stops them - water is too precious to waste even a drop! Off they go to the Drippety Dry Desert to meet three creatures who are experts at conserving water. D

Wild Kratts  "Blowfish Blowout"  When the miniaturized Kratt Brothers get swept up and lost in a current of plankton, they become part of a crowd of fish larva all headed to the most populated and diverse habitat on Earth - the coral reef. D

Outdoor Idaho  "The Foothills"  The backdrop for Idaho's Statehouse and the city of Boise is also the instant getaway for people in the Treasure Valley with more than 10,000 acres set aside through a voter-approved levy and more than 135 miles of trails. Runners, walkers, mountain bikers, wildflower hunters, wildlife watchers and more make year around use of the Foothills, which merge into the Boise Ridge, topped by Bogus Basin Ski Resort.G

Dialogue  "Laurel Thatcher Ulrich"  Host Marcia Franklin talks with Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and Idaho native Laurel Thatcher Ulrich and about her latest book, Well-Behaved Women Seldom Make History. Ulrich, a professor at Harvard University, was in Idaho to speak at the Idaho Humanities program in Idaho Falls.G

Bluegrass Underground  "Vince Gill"  A Country Music Hall of Famer and 20-time Grammy winner, Gill has recently been sharing the stage with Eric Clapton, Sting and James Taylor. Known for his razor-sharp instrumental skills, his expressive tenor voice, his richly varied songwriting and his superb choice of backup musicians, Gill delivers everything from heartfelt honky tonk ballads to hot bluegrass to full-throttle country rock, all leavened with an easygoing sense of humor that makes a Vince Gill show feel like you're just hanging out with on old friend. This is as good as country music gets. D
