Science Trek  "Garbage"  When you toss something into the trash, science takes over. Scientists find ways to dispose of trash and not ruin the environment. They can even turn garbage into electricity. Do you know where your trash goes and what happens to it? Joan Cartan-Hansen and her guests, Ted Hutchinson, Deputy Solid Waste Director for the Ada County Solid Waste Management and Megan Durrell, Trash and Recycling Coordinator for the City of Boise, answer students' questions about the garbage.G

Roadtrip Nation  "New York City"  It's the last week of the team's six-week Roadtrip-and also Hannah and Antoine's first time in New York City. While there, they meet up with MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) reporter Ariel Helwani who talks about his beginnings as a shy kid to becoming one of the most notable MMA sports reporters in the world. At the end of their conversation, he stresses to the team, "don't give up on your dreams." Antoine, Hannah, and Nika then move on to their last interview at the CNN headquarters where they meet with anchor Soledad O'Brien who talks about the hard work it takes to follow a dream. Afterward, the team reflects on the events of the trip and the people they met before signing the Green RV and saying their goodbyes.G

Katie Brown Workshop  "Best of Summer"  Host Katie Brown's summer-inspired recipes and outdoor-entertaining projects make the most of the season. George Hirsch Lifestyle  "Layering with Seasoning"  George plans the perfect outdoor cookout, complete with flavor-packed tasting plates, grilled steak and spice-rubbed salmon, and a decadent chocolate mousse. George visits Captain Pete who shares tips on making the perfect smoked salmon.
