Jens Jensen The Living Green   Narrated by Jens Jensen's great-granddaughter, Jensen Wheeler Wolfe, the multi-award winning documentary JENS JENSEN THE LIVING GREEN profiles the unsung pioneering landscape architect who became one of America's most influential urban designers and early conservationists - shaping the Midwest's physical and cultural landscape in an enduring way. Danish-born Jensen rose from immigrant street sweeper in the 1880s to "dean of American landscape architects," as The New York Times called him upon his death in 1951. When Jensen arrived in Chicago in 1885, it was one of the fastest growing cities in human history, and one of the least livable, especially for the working poor. D

America's First Forest: Carl Schenck and the Asheville Experiment   The pivotal role played by pioneering forestry educator Carl Schenck and his founding of America's first school of forestry - the Biltmore Forest School - is examined. The documentary recounts how Schenck, a German forester, came to America in 1895 to manage the forests at George Vanderbilt's Biltmore Estate in western North Carolina. With more than 100,000 acres of woodland to oversee and replant, Schenck began hiring young men to help with the work. After three years of answering their questions while on the job, the forester decided to teach them in a more formal setting and established the first forestry school in the United States.G

Ernie introduces the Pteranodons to a herding game that makes even Mrs. Pteranodon put on her game face! Jess Hesperornis - The Pteranodons venture to the Big Pond to find out if dinosaurs can live in the water. Their quandaries are quenched when they meet Jess Hesperornis, who turns out to be not only a water dwelling dino, but a bird as well!. D

Splash and Bubbles  "Seal Sitters/from Ray to Zee"  Splash and Bubbles stop to visit Tidy for the day, but find him exhausted from constantly cleaning up behind the new kelp forest resident, Tyke, a young female Pacific harbor seal pup. Splash and Bubbles try to help Tidy by seal-sitting the young seal pup, and quickly learn how hard it is to keep track of their curious and fearless new mammal friend. / Splash and Bubbles realize that Zee is alone on the reef as the only shark, but when they learn that she has a distant relative in Reeftown, Zee is excited to discover who it is.
