This Old House  "Arlington Arts & Crafts - Changes Start to Show"  The house gets new shingles. After the hardwood goes down, radiant tubing is installed on the entire first floor. The large existing fireplace gets a makeover. D

Real Rail Adventures: Swiss Grand Tour   In REAL RAIL ADVENTURES: SWISS GRAND TOUR, television host, lifelong traveler and train buff Jeff Wilson journeys through several cities and towns in Switzerland by train, including Zurich, St. Gallen, Gstaad and Montreux, to take in the sights and learn about the local history and traditions of each destination. He also shares up-to-date travel advice to help viewers create authentic, memorable rail adventures of their own. D

Lidia's Kitchen  "Herbs and Spices"  Fresh herbs are simply a must in Lidia's kitchen and today she makes three dishes that highlight herbs and spices. She begins the menu with pickled carrots: a quick pickle of tiny carrots packed with the flavors of parsley, garlic and mint; braised beef in guazzetto: rich, braised beef filled with enticing aromas and skillet cauliflower with lemon and mint: cauliflower florettes showered with lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh mint. Cook's Country  "Big Family Breakfast"  Host Christopher Kimball visits Freight House Antiques in Erving, Massachusetts, where scones are baked fresh daily. Then, test cook Julia Collin Davison shows Chris how to make perfect mixed berry scones at home. Next, equipment expert Adam Ried reveals his top picks for pizza cutters. D

Simply Ming  "Louis Dibiccari"  It's a celebration of the best of New England seafood with chef and restaurateur, Louis DiBiccari. Today on Simply Ming, Ming and Louis are cooking up lobster - not one, not two, but FOUR ways. Louis makes a lobster gravy with a lobster risotto while Ming offers up Thai basil-lobster risotto cakes with lobster emulsion. D

Steven Raichlen's Project Smoke  "Raichlen On Ribs"  Ribs epitomize barbecue, combining well-marbled, rich-tasting meat with the primal pleasure of eating with your bare hands. In this show we embark on a rib world tour, from St. Louis ribs with a surprise ingredient to Chinatown spareribs and the Project Smoke version of the boneless rib sandwich. D

Travel with Kids  "Belize Adventures - Mayan Underground and Garafuna Villages"  Travel With Kids adventures continue in Belize as the group of kids heads for the coast by small plane. One of the kids, an 11 year old girl gets to fly the plane. The kids explore Placencia, a laid back tiny village with one sidewalk and lots of coconuts. D
