The 2009-2010 titles continue the tradition of outstanding stories and great acting. MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! finishes its season in October. Then MASTERPIECE CONTEMPORARY picks up the banner and features stories like Naomie Harris’ Small Island; and The 39 Steps, a spy thriller immortalized by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film. Coming to MASTERPIECE CLASSIC this winter is an all new production of Emma with Romola Garai, Michael Gambon and Johnny Lee Miller starring in the Jane Austin story.

The amazed owner is a schoolteacher who inherited the treasure from her mother. Other stops for the 2010 season include Madison, Wisconsin; Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Jose, California.
