Christmas at Concordia: Gather Us In, O Child of Peace   In this music special, Concordia College re-imagines the Christmas message with music embracing peace and reconciliation. Under the artistic leadership of world renowned composer and conductor Rene Claussen, four hundred student musicians perform in front of an original mural measuring nearly 200 feet wide. The hour-long program explores through song the themes of virtue in the community, including tolerance, compassion, and unity. He visits the Old Curiosity Shop where Grandfather is tending to desperately ill Little Nell. He visits Edward Barbary whose business has collapsed. He spreads fear and unhappiness wherever he goes.G

Dickensian  "2 of 10"  Christmas Day dawns and there's a stranger in Market St - Inspector Bucket - brought in to find out who killed Jacob Marley. Mr Venus provides a post mortem on the dead body, discovering a splinter of wood in a wound in the head. He goes to visit an unseasonably inhospitable Scrooge to ask him about his partner and finds his journal in which, on the night of the murder, is written the letter "C" and also that he went to the Old Curiosity shop that day. Little Nell has made a miraculous recovery and she and her grandfather, one-legged pub landlord Silas Wegg, gin-soaked mid-wife Mrs Gamp, and the local busy-body Fanny Biggettywitch are gossiping about the Inspector.G

Scrooge is becoming suspicious that Edward Barbary can't pay his debts, but coughs up more money to Arthur Havisham when he realizes he has shares in the Brewery. Bucket is following up details found in Marley's journal and goes to see Fagin who gives him Sikes' address. A furious Sikes is duly arrested as a cosh is found in his room, and he's slung in the cells to simmer down.G

Conexiones: A Mexican Cuban Connection   CONEXIONES: A Mexican Cuban Connection is a documentary chronicling the 2016 tour of Cuba by Mexican American roots group Los Cenzontles. Conexiones captures a unique glimpse into Cuban cultural life during an historic time of openness between the United States and Cuba. Los Cenzontles were granted rare access to perform traditional Mexican music in four cities around Cuba where they engaged with Cuban musicians from a variety of walks of life. D

Legacy In Stone   In 1961, an amazing discovery of ancient Clovis points (a projectile point similar to an arrowhead, knapped from flint or a similar mineral) was uncovered on the Bill Simon farm in Fairfield, Idaho. Twin Falls residents Jim Paxton, Al Frost and Jim Woods team up with producer Mark Bork for a documentary about what is known today as the Simon Collection. Estimated to be 12,000 years old, this cache of more than 30 Clovis points is now on display at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science at the College of Southern Idaho. Northwest archeologists come together in the film to demonstrate the art, science and skill of flintknapping, which created these exquisite ancient artifacts.G
