Minimum Wage

The last time the national minimum wage was raised was in 1991. Recently President Clinton proposed raising it from $4.25 to $5.15/hour. In Idaho the AFL-CIO has started circulating a petition to get an initiative on the ballot that would raise Idaho's minimum wage to $6.25/hour and require employers to pay overtime if their employee works more than 40 hours in a week. Guests debate whether or not raising the minimum wage would hurt businesses and if the current minimum wage is enough to keep a family above the poverty line.
