Grizzly Bear

For 50 years, there have been no verified sightings of grizzly bears in the center of Idaho. But now, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says the Bitterroot ecosystem of Idaho and Montana, one of the largest contiguous blocks of federal land left in the lower 48 states, is an excellent place to re-establish grizzly populations.
