Every year, 200,000 children are removed from their homes after allegations of neglect and abuse. Many of these children end up in foster care. Recent tragedies within the system have focused attention on child protection and foster care once again. In conjunction with the airing of a two-part Frontline series, "Failure to Protect," Marcia Franklin talks with four guests about foster care, in a special hour-long program.
Guests will talk about the needs for Idaho's foster care system, plans to develop a "receiving home" for foster children, and the development of a foster youth alumni network.
