David Fanning, Frontline Founder

In 1983, David Fanning started what has become PBS' flagship public affairs program. Frontline is America's only regularly scheduled investigative documentary series on television. It remains one of the most honored programs on the air.

Fanning joins Joan Cartan-Hansen to discuss the state of broadcast journalism. Fanning was in the Pacific Northwest to accept the Edward R. Murrow Distinguished Achievement Award from Washington State University.
