Share your story: How did WWII affect your life or the life of someone you know?

Based on the Veterans History Project — a Library of Congress and American Folklife Center initiative — public television has developed a tool to collect stories, photographs and memorabilia related to American wars. The Veterans History Project uses a grassroots approach to historical documentation so that history can be based on a wide range of experiences. Share your story with others!

The Idaho Homefront series invites Idaho high school seniors to help preserve the stories and memories of Idaho citizens affected by war, by incorporating oral histories as part of a senior thesis project. Learn more about the project.

A lot of people have contributed to the production The Idaho Homefront. We'd like to thank those who have made it possible.
