Free to Rock   Ten years in the making, FREE TO ROCK explores how American rock and roll contributed to the end of the Cold War. Western rock music was prohibited by the Soviet and Eastern Block authorities and deemed as propaganda. However, the "soft power" of American rock music was pumped into Eastern Europe and the USSR by Voice of America and Radio Free Europe. This forbidden music inspired thousands of underground rock bands and tens of millions of their passionate supporters. Their enthusiasm for rock and roll became a youth movement that openly defied the Communist government.G
8:00 pm
America ReFramed  "Vegas Baby"  Some think an in-vitro fertilization contest sounds crazy, but countless Americans desperate to start a family believe this social media experiment is their only hope. This film follows several aspiring parents who desperately want to have a baby but are struggling with infertility and the high cost of treatments. They place themselves in the hands of a Las Vegas doctor and his annual contest, which offers a prize of a free round of in-vitro fertilization with no guarantee of success. D

The Committee   The Committee is a documentary film about the little-known Florida Legislative Investigative Committee of the State Legislature from 1956-1965. It was successful in either firing or expelling more than 200 suspected gay and lesbian citizens. D
