Wishbone  "Twisted Tail"  This live-action program follows the exploits of Wishbone the dog and his human friends, Joe, David and Samantha through their adventures in their hometown of Oakdale. Wishbone's everyday experiences trigger his imagination and he finds himself in scenes from classic works of literature. In this episode, there's a thief in the neighborhood, who strikes both at Wanda's house and at Joe's place. D

Landscapes Through Time with David Dunlop  "The Luminous Landscapes of John Frederick Kensett, Contentment Island, CT"  The Luminists were considered to be a subgroup of the Hudson River Painters. While these younger painters shared the same traditions of the Hudson River Painters, artists such as John Kensett (1816-1872) were more interested in the subtle effects of daylight, especially at dawn and dusk, than in the graphic representation of a specific place or landscape. This program will outline the evolution of Kensett from a Hudson River Artist-Explorer to an American Luminist. D

NOVA  "Making Stuff Cleaner"  David Pogue explores the science and business of clean energy, examining alternative ways to generate it, store it and distribute it. One scientist uses chicken feathers to create a cheap way to make hydrogen cars safer. Pogue looks at the dependency on a rare resource in South America to make lithium batteries and how scientists might devise a way for batteries to run on molten salts, abundant in the U.S. Part 3 of 4G

Wings for Maggie Ray   Margaret "Maggie" Ringenberg (1921-2008), a member of the U.S. Army Air Force WASP (Women's Air Service Pilot) during World War II, also becomes a well-known long-distance aviation racer. Re-enactments, archival photos and film, and insightful interviews with those closest to her, reveal her fearlessness, confidence, competitive nature, drive and determination.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Idaho's Scenic Byways"  Cameras capture scenes from the state's system of more than 2,400 miles of official Scenic, Historic or Backcountry byways. The routes crisscross the state to reveal natural wonders, geologic and historic sites, and the varied topography of Idaho.G

Call The Midwife  "(S2 E8)"  Chummy and PC Noakes meet with new challenges as they settle back into life in Poplar.
