At a dinner party hosted by Lady Clemency Eddison, the Doctor and Donna join forces with the famous crime novelist to encounter a body in the library, poisoned cocktails and a Vespiform seeking revenge.G

Nature  "The Himalayas"  Despite their forbidding appearance, the mountains, which are considered sacred, are rich with a surprising array of plants and animals. Snow leopards, red pandas, Asiatic black bears, musk deer, snub-nosed monkeys, Tibetan foxes and high-flying birds populate the heights. Great valleys draw warm wet air in from the tropics, creating rainforests at 8,000 feet, each one a tropical paradise like the long-sought Shangri-la.G

Frontline  "The Interrupters"  Director Steve James (Hoop Dreams, Stevie) follows the inner workings of CeaseFire and the former gang members who have become the interrupters. The innovative program in Chicago is designed to prevent shootings in a city where 37 people were shot in one weekend during 2008. The interrupters report weekly on the simmering disputes and the senseless shootings in their neighborhoods; their goal is to stop the violence before it happens.G

Inside Out  "The Becoming Years"  While adolescence is the time we form identity and establish independence, the adult years are marked by important life events, and an expansion of the self. As author David Myers says, ?From womb to tomb, we are always in the process of becoming. D

Inside Out  "Connections"  A solitary figure walks on the beach at dawn. Although he is alert to his surroundings, his sensory systems take in only a fraction of the energy that envelops him. That which does reach the receptor cells is captured and converted into signals that can be recognized by the central nervous system. D

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood  "We Learn Best from Caring People/Batteries & Flashlights"  Maggie Stewart teaches sign language to a song she sings. Batteries of all sizes can power many things, from flashlights to riding machines. Machines can help people learn, but we all learn best from caring people. D

Curious George  "George and the Giant Thumb/Shutter Monkey"  George and the Giant Thumb - A bored George and Allie decide to make a ginormous sculpture of Bill's sprained thumb. The duo quickly run out of clay and turn to less conventional art supplies. Peanut butter proves too sticky and shaving cream too drippy, so George and Allie use mud to finish their masterpiece. D

Wild Kratts  "Bass Class"  Martin and Chris are in the middle of a friendly competition to find Small-mouth and Large-mouth Bass when they meet Wild Kratts Kid, Gavin, who is fishing. Before they can join him, Zach Varmitech arrives and challenges them to a fishing contest. The Wild Kratts team must use their knowledge of bass biology to win the tournament fair and square. D

Peep and the Big Wide World/Pocoyo  "Quack and the Very Big Rock/Shadow Play/Pocoyo - My Pato!"  Quack is utterly flummoxed when a big rock plants itself in a very inconsiderate spot. Peep, Quack, and Chirp discover their shadows-then use them to teach Tom (that trouble-making cat!) a lesson. Then, Pato and Elly are arguing over their blocks when Caterpillar and Baby Bird walk past with presents for Pato. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Sniff and Seek/Aye Aye!"  Sniff and Seek - Nick's most favourite smell is chocolate chip cookies! But what is Sally's? She's not sure. What better way to find out than by playing sniff and seek with a skunk! Cat introduces Nick and Sally to Whiffy, and in the adventure of finding Sally's favourite smell they discover how good Whiffy is at protecting himself with his very own special smell. Aye Aye! - Nick and Sally are making Halloween masks, but they want to make them really scary. D

Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps  "Angelina and the Mini-Mouseling/Angelina's Helpful Friend"  Angelina and the Mini-Mouseling - Polly becomes obsessed with her height, attempting schemes and gimmicks to become taller. When Angelina, A.Z., and Alice need someone to play a very important role in their school production of Goldilocks and the Three Mice, she realizes the value of her size and that she is special just the way she is! Angelina's Helpful Friend - Viki makes the mistake of agreeing to help too many people at the same time. D

Bob the Builder  "Being Your Best"  Night Time Scratch - Scratch is so excited about today's job, installing the floodlights at the football ground, that he has hardly slept a wink the night before. During the build, Scratch is disappointed to find out that the floodlights will be tested after his bedtime. Frantic to be allowed to stay up, Scratch asks if he can have a nap during the day so he will be rested for that night. D

Franny's Feet  "Shiver Me Timbers/Ride'em Cowboy"  A) Franny travels to the Kalahari Desert, where she meets Tula, a shy meerkat who loves to bask in the warm sun. When Tula's older siblings stand in front of her, blocking the light, Franny helps her learn to speak up for herself. In Franny's Treasures, Franny, Bobby, and the viewers discover the features that make fireflies, chameleons, and skunks unique. D

Thomas & Friends  "Laughing Together"  Big Belle - Belle is very excited to learn that Toby also has a bell just like hers, and wants to go and be friends with him. Toby is a little intimidated when he sees how big and powerful Belle is. Belle decides that she wants Toby to do everything that she wants to do. D
