Knit and Crochet Now!  "Afghans"  Beautiful afghans are always a welcome addition to any home and this week Maggie will show us how to knit the Moth Wing afghan designed by Michael Del Veccio. Ellen is up next with the Quantum Granny crochet afghan designed by Carrie Carpenter. Knit square this week is the Scalloped Shell. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Study -- Reminders of the Past, Part 2"  In this final segment, Jerry shows his students how to use a series of dry brush techniques of various glazes to suggest wood grain. Then using the #4 script brush, he shows how to add the final details, like cracks, knot-holes, highlights, etc. D

Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "From Lobster to Chocolate Clams: A Delicious Feast in Magdalena Bay"  Rick and local guide Luis Garduno of REDTours venture out on a skiff to learn about sustainable fishing on Magdalena Bay. They catch up with local lobster fishermen and learn about sizing lobsters. Then they watch as clam divers haul up the local chocolate clams from the bottom of the bay. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Vienna and the Danube"  Rick takes in the city's wealth of elegant gardens, great art and fine music. He travels along the Danube River and hikes through the Baroque Melk Abbey.G

Invitation to World Literature  "The Tale of Genji"  This portrait of court life in medieval Japan follows the life and exploits of the great Genji. Written by Murasaki Shikibu, a lady of the Japanese court, it provides an insider's view of Japanese court life, the official and behind the screen. Art, clothing, music from the time of the novel illustrate the obserations of authors Jane Smiley and Chiori Miyagawa, among others. D
