During the build, Scratch is disappointed to find out that the floodlights will be tested after his bedtime. Frantic to be allowed to stay up, Scratch asks if he can have a nap during the day so he will be rested for that night. D

Thomas & Friends  "Marvelous Moments!"  Thomas is asked by Farmer Trotter to collect some straw for the piglets, which are soon to be born. But on the way, Thomas sees other things he thinks the piglets will like. Landscapes Through Time with David Dunlop  "The Hudson River Painters at Kaaterskill Falls, Ny"  David visits the top of the 300-foot Kaaterskill Falls in the Catskill Mountains, painted by many Hudson River artists. These artists, considered the first American school of painting, portrayed the awesome immensity and sublime effects of nature. These artists painted from a various motivations but always with a scrupulous observation of nature, in the words of Thomas Cole (1800 - 1848), considered the father of the Hudson River painters. D

Dialogue  "Remembering The Holocaust"  Host Marcia Franklin talks with Marion Blumenthal Lazan, who works to educate people about Nazi Germany's Holocaust and her experiences as a survivor. She is the co-author of a young adult book about her experiences called Four Perfect Pebbles and the subject of the documentary Marion's Triumph: Surviving History's Nightmare. Lazan was imprisoned for more than six years in four camps, including the Bergen-Belsen camp, where Anne Frank died.G

NOVA  "Secrets of Stonehenge"  Investigations inside and around Stonehenge and its environs are kicking off a new era of discovery and debate about one of England's best known relics of pre-history. New archaeological finds reveal possible answers as well as more questions. New sites include nearby cremations, remains of a 4,500-year-old village and Bluestonehenge about two miles away along an ancient "boulevard."G

British Antiques Roadshow  "Hatfield 2"  A second visit to Hatfield House in Hertfordshire as Fiona Bruce and the team of experts are met by a huge crowd of visitors laden with family treasures. Amongst the featured items are a remarkable portrait painted by a mouth artist who once worked in a Victorian freak show, a life size stuffed Lion made famous on TV, and a four headed doll is given a four figure valuation.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Wild Fire"  Idaho's wildland fires have become increasingly large, violent and intense in the years since 2000, demonstrated by the summer of 2007. OUTDOOR IDAHO follows the flames to Yellow Pine, Ketchum and the Salmon River to capture the competition between fire and firefighter and talks with homeowners, business people and fire-fighting commanders.G

Oregon Field Guide  "Elk at Mt. St. Helens/Snowkiting/Lighthouse Photo Essay"  Elk populations are booming at Mount St. Helens, but there is concern about some of the steps designed to help them that include building giant structures in the middle of the Toutle River. Then on the backside of Mount Ashland, a snowkite group is kite skiing up the slopes.G

New Tricks  "Tiger, Tiger"  When Harefield Zoo refurbishes the former lodgings of its zookeeper believed to have been mauled to death by a tiger a few years before, there is evidence that suggests he was killed before being found in the enclosure. The UCOS team reopens the case and learns there was another side to the quiet zookeeper.G
