Human Condition  "The Code"  The episode discusses a primer on DNA and its role as the "blueprint" for each human being's general health, longevity, and physical appearance and explains how the Human Genome Project is helping scientists understand the functions of specific genes in an effort to identify the cause of genetic diseases.G

Grannies On Safari  "Exotic Zanzibar, Tanzania"  The Grannies travel to this truly exotic island that is known for its spice trade, trade winds, historic Arab architecture and romantic resorts. StoneTown, the capital, is a captivating rustic city filled with veiled women, thriving markets and aromatic neighborhoods. The ladies experience an exotic dance performance on the beach, ruins and a meal fit for kings. D

This Old House  "Barrington Project, Part 2 of 10"  Host Kevin O'Connor arrives to find builder Andy Tiplady with the house wide open, his foundation in place and framing underway. The new open floor plan requires structural steel that gets bolted and then welded in place. With the steel installed and high winds already kicking up, Andy and his crew button up the house for the impending bad weather, which turns out to be Hurricane Irene. D
