Independent Lens  "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey"  Kevin Clash's one career goal is to be a puppeteer and work with his idol, the late Jim Henson. In his teens, Clash designs and crafts his own puppets to give public performances in his home town, Baltimore, Maryland. Clash soon comes to the attention of Muppet designer Kermit Love and joins Henson on SESAME STREET where he continues to achieve his dreams "Being Elmo," plus several other characters. While in Bristol, he catches a street performance by musical nomads Megan Jean & the KFB and checks out Knoxville-based The Black Lillies performing at one of Bristol's many outdoor concerts. D

The Conductor points out that Penelope lives in a part of the world that gets a lot of earthquakes, and sure enough, the kids experience their first quake with Penelope. Mom and the Conductor have prepared the kids with excellent advice about what to do in an earthquake, so everyone does fine. D

Super Why!  "Hansel and Gretel"  Red has taken Peter Piper's peppers without asking, and now he's mad! What happens when the Super Readers try to help Hansel and Gretel get out of a similar sticky (sweet) situation? Only the unexpected! After overcoming a few storybook obstacles, we finally find out the witch's side of the story, and Red learns to be more considerate.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Thump/Squirreled Away"  Thump - Nick is trying to make his mother a surprise lunch, but she keeps coming into the kitchen! Twitch and her bunnies teach Nick and Sally how to stop, look and listen for danger. D

Wild Kratts  "Masked Bandits"  As they prepare for a creature costume party, the Wild Kratts team begins to notice all sorts of strange things happening in the Tortuga HQ. Jimmy is sure there is a ghost or monster living with them, but the Kratt brothers are convinced it's some kind of creature. When the gang sets out to discover who is causing all the trouble, they discover that certain animals gravitate towards human habitation because it provides food and protection from predators. D

In Chiclayo, they explore the "witches' market," where they find herbs, hallucinogens and other natural remedies that promise everything from basic protection from curses to headache cures. As the trek continues, stop to examine pre-Incan mountaintop aqueducts hand carved into the thick rock of the Andes. D

The film explores successful therapies and documents the promising research underway at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where doctors study the sleep and brain patterns of PTSD sufferers and examine the reasons why women are twice as likely as men to develop the disorder. The program concludes on a hopeful note, with a visit to a weekend retreat for veterans dealing with PTSD and combat stress. D
