Onstage with her in Hailey's Liberty Theatre are musicians from Idaho and across the country. Other friends, who have known and worked with Sorrels for decades - Pete Seeger, Nanci Griffith, Jean Ritchie, Terry Garthwaite, Utah Phillips and more - describe Sorrels' special talents, unique qualities and contributions to musical history and lore.G

The Desert Speaks  "The People of Peru's Cloud Forest"  Beginning in Cajamarca, host David Yetman, geologist Dick Yetman and South American archaeological expert Axel Nielsen head out into the colorful city streets in pursuit of authentic and very distinctive South American hats that are almost as tall as they are wide. This quest takes them past local merchant stalls and through Calle de Cuyes, or guinea pig alley, where locals can purchase skinned and fully dressed guinea pigs to eat.G

Ciao Italia  "Roast Pork, Tuscan Style/Arista!"  Mary Ann travels to Tuscany to host a group of eager students who want to experience terrific Tuscan-style cooking. They team up to create Tuscan Black Cabbage Soup -Ribollita, Roast Pork, Tuscan-style, called Arista, Sauteed Mushrooms, a delicate Zucchini Tart, and for dessert, what else but Tuscany's most famous cookie, Biscotti di Prato. Pounding tenderizes the meat, makes it thinner for faster cooking, and makes food go farther. Using this technique with some mystery ingredients, Chef Jason Santos of Boston's Blue Inc., joins Ming to cook on the fly and invent two completely new dishes: New Style Sashimi with Soy-Lemon Syrup & Curry-Coriander Oil and Buttermilk Fried Pork Loin with a Heirloom Tomato Salad. Then, tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Chris to a tasting of diced tomatoes. D

Around The House with Matt and Shari  "Exterior Details"  Today's show concentrates on exterior details with a discussion of shutters, window boxes, door knobs, and lighting. Then, Matt has a cool ladder platform project for those tricky high exterior projects. Last, they'll be painting and decorating clay pots to add color to a home exterior. D

Austin City Limits  "The Head and the Heart/Gomez"  From Seattle, Washington, the Head and the Heart indie rock group performs tunes from its self-titled debut album. Then British veterans Gomez follow with eclectic modern rock.G

Sesame Street  "Super Maria"  Gordon is busy trying to fix lots of things at 123 Sesame Street. Susan tells him that he should think about getting a superintendent - someone who takes care of buildings and fixes things that are broken. Gordon insists that he doesn't need any help. D

Dinosaur Train  "Triassic Turtle/Tank's Baby Brother"  Triassic Turtle - Don mistakes a shell for a rock and meets Adam Adocus, a turtle with a head he can pull into his shell. The Pteranodon family travels to the Triassic and meets Pauline Proganochelys, another kind of turtle who shares her own methods of defending herself. Tank's Baby Brother - Tank Triceratops has a new baby brother that everyone dotes on, making Tank feel left out. D

Super Why!  "Bedtime for Bear"  Baby Joy is afraid of the dark! To show her there's nothing to fear, Super Why and his literacy friends fly into Bedtime for Bear and meet Charlie - a bear who is scared of just about everything! The super readers shed a little light on the problem (literally) while Charlie discovers a bit more about the world outside his cozy cave. Educational Objectives: To experience a familiar bedtime routine. Preschoolers will practice the alphabet, rhyme with AR words, learn what the word "fireflies" means, and use the power to read to change the story. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "A Tale About Tails/Sticky Situation"  A Tale About Tails - Nick and Sally are playing "Tape the Tail on the Donkey" when they wish they had tails of their own! Well it just so happens that the Cat knows a lot about tails! He brings them to the Jungle of Wagga-Tag-Tail where they meet a number of animals with very different tails. When Nick and Sally get to test out all of these tails for themselves, they learn that different tails can do different things! Sticky Situation - Sally and Nick are playing the drums on overturned buckets when Nick breaks his drumstick! Luckily, the Cat knows someone who is a stick expert, his friend Betty Beaver! She finds Nick the perfect drumstick, but when her dam springs a leak, Nick, Sally and the Cat help her fix it, using Nick's new stick. He doesn't have a stick anymore, but Nick learns an even better way to drum: using a home-made beaver tail!. D

Wild Kratts  "Elephant in the Room"  The brothers come across a lone baby elephant and bring him back to the Tortuga HQ for safety until they can find his mom. But they learn how mischievous baby elephants can be and get more than they bargained for when it almost destroys the Tortuga! As they rush to get the baby elephant home, the WildKratts team realizes that animals have different structures that serve various functions in growth and survival. And an elephant's trunk is like the multipurpose tool of "creature features" with hundreds of uses, including: showering, blasting water, grabbing, lifting, communicating, "hearing", pushing and pulling. D

Ucook! with Chef Bob   Chef Bob makes one of his classic dishes to start; pan seared chicken liver salad. This chicken liver is placed over fresh frisee lettuce and softly covered in smoked bacon and red wine vinaigrette. It's a great way to start the evening. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Siena and Assisi: Italy's Grand Hill Towns"  Rick tours the innovative medieval hospital in Siena and a bakery that makes panforte. He explores the Chianti region and spends a night at a farmhouse where he learns about the Slow Food Movement before following the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.G
