Freedom Riders: American Experience   An integrated band of college students in 1961 risk everything and buy a ticket on a Greyhound bus bound for the Deep South to break the grip of segregation. Filmmaker Stanley Nelson presents the first feature-length film about this band of civil-rights activists. He chronicles a chapter in American history that is a testament to the accomplishment of youth that can result from a combination of personal conviction and courage.G

Independent Lens  "The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975"  Swedish journalists capture on film the leaders of the Black Power movement in the United States.
