Dayton Codebreakers   Throughout 1942, German U-boats were sinking hundreds of American ships in the Atlantic Ocean, effectively cutting the supply line to embattled ally England. In desperation, the United States Navy turned to the National Cash Register Company in Dayton, Ohio, to design and build code-breaking machines. The high-priority and highly classified project involved hundreds of civilians, Naval officers and one engineer of German descent whose insight and technical ability helped break the complex Enigma code. America ReFramed  "In The Game"  The the ups and downs of a girls' soccer team reveal the very real obstacles that low-income students confront in their quest for higher education. Set in a primarily Hispanic neighborhood, Kelly High School on Chicago's south side is an inner city public school struggling to provide the basics for their students, many of whom do not make it to college, either because they cannot compete academically or because their families do not have the financial resources to send them to college. The girls face an uneven playing field - or in the case of the girls at Kelly High School, no soccer field at all - little or no support, problems at home, uncertain futures, discrimination, and poverty, but remain undaunted thanks to their teammates and the dedicated mentoring of their coach. Never Too Late   Shad Blair, a 36-year-old plumber living in Stevensville, Montana, has always dreamed of playing professional basketball. Against all odds, Shad receives an invitation to the Las Vegas Overseas Combine and his pipe dream might just become a reality. Local coach and one-time Montana basketball standout Ryan Wetzel thinks Shad has what it takes and agrees to help train the 6'11" inch Blair for the upcoming combine. D

No Evidence of Disease (N.E.D.)   NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE follows a unique rock band made up of six gynecologic oncology surgeons from across the country who are taking healing and the arts to a new level (the band's name comes from the four words every patient prays to hear, "No Evidence of Disease"). Created as a cover band to entertain their peers at a medical conference, the members soon saw the potential to reach women in a powerful way - through music. What started as a novelty turned into an awareness movement to give a voice to women affected by gynecologic cancers. D
