Antiques Roadshow  "Des Moines, IA - Hour Two"  Host Mark L. Walberg explores an extra-illustrated book set based on a biography of Charles Dickens at Salisbury House and Gardens, the estate of 1920s cosmetic tycoon Carl Weeks. Finds at the convention center include a collection of prized Pueblo pottery and an extremely rare 1623 Shakespeare first folio, valued up to $50,000. Part 2 of 3G

Concert for Newtown   "Concert for Newtown" features performances by Peter Yarrow, Dar Williams, Bethany Yarrow & Rufus Cappadocia as well as Newtown's own Flagpole Radio Cafe that includes Francine and David Wheeler, the parents of 6-year-old Ben, who died at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012. Musical performances are interwoven with interviews of Peter Yarrow and Francine Wheeler by Bill Moyers. The concert is a deeply moving, tearful yet also joyful event, filled with love and a powerful sense of the Newtown community's commitment to fulfilling the Sandy Hook Promise - that is, to be remembered not as the place where tragedy occurred but as the place where transformational change began. Tonic Sol-Fa Christmas   The a cappella group, which specializes in pop arrangements, celebrates the holidays at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The spirited program highlights the foursome's trademark humor and skilled musicianship as they perform a mix of traditional, secular and original holiday songs. The music is intertwined with interviews with group members.G

Silent Night   On the Western Front in the first year of World War I, a miracle happened. The guns went silent. A Christmas Eve truce on December 24, 1914 allowed French, German and Scottish soldiers to lay down their arms and join in a spontaneous celebration reflecting the season. Composer's Kevin Puts' opera, which was awarded the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Music, with a libretto by Mark Campbell is sung in French, English, German, Italian and Latin with English subtitles. The production was commissioned by the Minnesota Opera and is based on the Academy Award-nominated film Joyeux Noel.G

Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring Alfie Boe and Tom Brokaw   Veteran newscaster Tom Brokaw and Tony Award-winning Les Miserables tenor Alfie Boe along with the choir's 360 singers and 150 instrumentalists in the Orchestra at Temple Square bring the audience members to their feet in the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Special guest is Utahn Gail "Hal" Havorsen, then 92, known as the "candy bomber" who dropped gum and chocolate for German children during the Berlin airlift of 1948-49.G
