In Southern Colorado, Darley rides up to over 12,000 feet in San Juan National Forest with native Anne Rapp. The ride to Engineer Mountain takes Darley through alpine meadows, steep mountain passes and open expanses where views reach all the way to New Mexico. Christmas at Concordia - Journey to Bethlehem   Composer and conductor Rene Clausen of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, re-imagines Christmas, guiding a musical journey to include many faiths and traditions. Featuring large and small ensembles, the diverse selections include seasonal favorites such as "Oh Holy Night" and "Do You Hear What I Hear," traditional American folk hymns and original compositions by Clausen.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Incredible Journey/Bamboozled"  Incredible Journey - Nick and Sally are playing in their homemade Thingamajigger, when the Cat arrives to take them on a real adventure! Off they go to meet salmon Sam, who is returning to the pool where she hatched so she can lay her eggs. With the help of the Subber-e-blubber, they follow Samantha underwater, upriver on her incredible journey! Bamboozled - Sally needs to find a gift for her stuffed panda, Pammy. Who better to ask than a real panda? The Cat takes them to meet Zhu Zhu, a giant panda who helps the kids to discover all the wonderful things you can do with her favorite food, bamboo. D

Wild Kratts  "Whale of a Squid"  Chris and Martin are taking Aviva's sub prototype out for a test drive when it gets sucked into a battle between a Sperm whale and Giant squid, spiraling down into the depths. The brothers want to follow, but their damaged sub can't take that kind of pressure. Aviva develops whale and squid Creature Power Suits, so the brothers can go where no sub has gone before. D

Dialogue for Kids  "Flight"  How do planes stay up in the air? We have to overcome four physical forces to fly, so do birds and bugs and anything else that wants to soar. So, what are those forces? Why does the shape of a wing make a difference in flight? Why are birds especially built for flight? Joan Cartan-Hansen and her guests, Frank Lester, education coordinator for the aeronautics division of the Idaho Transportation Department and Pilot Lori MacNichol answer questions about flight.G

The Desert Speaks  "Argentina: Ancient Patagonia People"  Host David Yetman and Argentine archeologist Maria Jose Figuerero journey through the gorgeously diverse Patagonia landscape for a look at the Patagonian people from ancient to modern times. The travelers stop at the Cuerva de los Manos ("Cave of the Hands"), which features a lasting glimpse into the lives of early residents. The famous stenciled handprints were created by blowing through a straw-like instrument filled with paint, while the images of lizards, people and the hunting of huanacos (a relative of the llama) were painted by hand.
