The Desert Speaks  "Sea to Sky: Along An Incan Road"  Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes are enigmatic remains of pre-Incan cultures, with vast rock art sites, colossal effigies etched into the nearly lifeless desert and burial sites that lay forgotten under the arid land for centuries. Examine these ruins and remains before venturing to the skies for a bird's-eye view of the famed Nazca lines. These mysterious drawings in the desert floor are astonishing in their creativity and size, with images of hummingbirds, monkeys and parrots hundreds of feet long and perfectly proportioned and geometric shapes that extend for miles. D

Also, young students in Oregon learn how destructive crayfish were transported across the Rockies for science experiments in their own school, and a landfill gets a second career as a solar power station.G

Tracks Ahead  "Western Pacific Railroad Museum"  Travel with Tracks Ahead into the Sierra Nevada mountains to visit a museum dedicated to the Western Pacific Railroad; see a G gauge layout especially adapted to the harsh Arizona climate; visit a great European collection and layout; and visit a New England tourist destination which started life as a sled dog ranch. Sesame Street  "Failure to Launch"  Hubert the Human Cannonball comes to Sesame Street to be launched out of a cannon, across the yard, and into a bucket of blue gelatin. He starts to set up all his stuff in the arbor and takes out a ruler so he can make sure the bucket is exactly five feet from the cannon. Baby Bear helps him measure it, Elmo and Telly help him into the cannon, and?drum roll please?there's a poof and Hubert tumbles out. D

Dinosaur Train  "The Old Bird/Diamond Don"  The Old Bird - Buddy, Tiny and Mom make a play date with Petey Peteinosaurus to ride the Dinosaur Train to meet Arlene Archeopteryx, a bird from the family of the oldest birds ever! The kids are excited to learn that Arlene is a bird and a dinosaur. Home With Shiny & Don - Shiny and Don stay at home and we get to see that just because they don't always ride with Buddy and Tiny on the Dinosaur Train doesn't mean that they are not having fun. An adventure into a local caves leads to a marvelous and brilliant discovery. D

Super Why!  "The Muddled-Up Fairytales"  Everyone is busy and Whyatt doesn't know what to do with himself! So Super Why and his friends fly into the story Muddled Up Fairytales where they visit a young dragon new to Fairytale Land who is eager to find a legend of his own. But when Dragon tries to move in with The Three Pigs, he sets off a wacky chain of events that turns the whole land upside down! The superhero readers need to help Dragon find his Happily Ever After! Educational Objectives: To learn the fun of creativity, explore the alphabet, practice the magic of spelling, and use the power to read to create a brand new story!. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Night Lights/Go Snails Go!"  Night Lights - Nick and Sally are making shadow puppets with the Cat in the Hat, but the batteries in the flashlight have gone out! They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to visit the fireflies that live in the backyard. There they learn that the fireflies communicate by flashing their lights. And when the fireflies provide the light the kids need, the shadow puppet show can continue! Go Snails Go! - Nick, Sally and the Cat have been invited along on a snail expedition! They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to meet up with Lewis and Clark, the two snails leading the way! As they travel through the forest of Slippity-Goo, having fun sliding in their own shells, the kids learn about all the different ways snails use their shells. D

Wild Kratts  "Aardvark Town"  When a young aardvark accidentally becomes a stowaway in Chris's backpack, the Wild Kratts team sets off on a "door to door" search to return him to his home burrow. Along the way, they discover the incredible (and valuable) service the aardvark provides to all the burrow-living creatures of Africa. Science Concept: Aardvarks manipulate earth materials and alter landscapes. D

Wyland's Art Studio  "Big Surf Wave"  Learn Wyland's techniques for painting one of nature's most difficult scenes to recreate.G

Piano Guy   Host Scott Houston and guests show viewers how to play The Temptations hit song, "My Girl" plus tips on walking a base line and distilling full arrangements into piano-only tunes. Featured guests include Karl Propst, Bradley Sowash and five-time Grammy nominee David Benoit. D

The Desert Speaks  "Outpost of the Outback"  Located near the center of the continent, Alice Springs, Australia, is around 1,000 miles from the closest city and has a population of 28,000 people. This city may be small, but it is home to Alice Springs Desert Park, a one of kind conservation site and tourist mecca that contains both the distinct flavor of Central Australia and the local desert habitats all in one easy to explore area. Host David Yetman surveys the park's Desert Rivers, Sand Country and Woodlands habitats, which are home to kangaroos, wallabies and bilbies as well as a large variety of rodents, birds and reptiles.
