Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "Todos Santos Magic"  Maybe it's the water, maybe it's the desert, but there's definitely magic in the charming Baja town called Todos Santos. It all starts at Art & Beer, a funky roadside bar on the outskirts of town that serves generous cocktails and outstanding appetizers. Then Rick checks into the Hotel California before meeting up with his local buddy, Sergio Jaurequi, for a history lesson about the town's disappearing and reappearing water supply. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "All-Time Cookie Favorites"  Test cook Bridget Lancaster reveals the secrets to super chewy chocolate cookies. Then, gadget guru Lisa McManus reveals the test kitchen's choice for portion scoops. Test cook Julia Collin Davison show host Christopher Kimball how to make thin and crispy oatmeal cookies, and tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Kimball to a tasting of oats. D

Scrapbook Memories  "Keepsakes"  What better way to create a keepsake then by adding a personal message or recording a voice or song? We'll show how to add sound to your pages and albuMs. Next, Stacy Julian "makes it personal" - good advice for every scrapbooker. Then, Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero is back with a unique card. She takes photos of kids and pets and turns them into a kaleidoscope for 3D flowers. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Southwest Serenade, Part 1"  (16x20 Acrylic) This Southwest painting of the Red Rock Canyons featuring close-up rock formations is a snow scene that uses a warm color scheme. Jerry starts with a tinted gray canvas and begins by blocking in the sky with a turquoise blue and transitioning into an orange glow on the horizon. Both the sky and the sunset colors are reflected into the river in the foreground. D

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 11 of 16"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook installs a 3,000-pound slab of reclaimed granite for the front step. Meanwhile, general contractor Tom Silva installs new wood windows in the addition that come with exterior trim already attached and finished in the factory. In the next town over, in Concord, Massachusetts, master carpenter Norm Abram stops in to see the progress on the period restoration of the Colonel James Barrett house, a little known house that played a big role in the American Revolution. D

1:30 pm 
Ask This Old House  "Installing A Front Porch Light; Splitting Firewood"  Host Kevin O'Connor works with an electrician in Atlanta to install a front porch light. Then Kevin, along with general contractor Tom Silva, landscape contractor Roger Cook and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, asks, "What Is It?" Afterward, Roger shares with Kevin a tip for efficiently splitting firewood. And Richard helps a homeowner who has hot water coming from his cold water faucet. D

American Woodshop  "Nested Band Sawn Boxes"  Magically saw boxes in minutes from reclaimed walnut. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Console Table/HDTV Stand"  Tommy looks at the technique of bending wood for his Rough Cut Console Table/HDTV stand project. To get some inspiration, Tommy goes on a Road Trip to meet with the curator of the Brooklyn Museum. There, he learns about the Thonets, who are famous for perfecting the technique of steam-bent lamination. D

America's Heartland   Illinois farmers combine cattle raising with high tech aeronautics. Your favorite wine may come from a vineyard where owls help protect the crops. Michigan farmers undertake an aggressive plan to protect the environment. D

NOVA  "Pluto Files"  This light-hearted look at the solar system's best-loved non-planet with Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium, crosses the country to learn about Pluto and why people relate to it so. Tracing its known history, talking with scientists and visiting with students horrified it might not be a planet, the program is based on Tyson's book of the same name. Other guests who offer opinions include Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams.G

Antiques Roadshow  "Madison, WI - Hour Three"  Appraisers spy a turn-of-the-century Japanese bamboo sculpture and a massive oil painting by 19th-century California painter Thomas Hill, purchased at a church rummage sale for $25, now valued up to $80,000. Part 3 of 3G

Priceless Antiques Roadshow   Specialist Penny Brittain shares some top tips for clever collecting, and the story of slavery and its abolition is told through some fascinating objects.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Copenhagen"  Rick finds reminders of Viking history, strolls Europe's first great pedestrian boulevard, ogles crown jewels in the palace treasury and visits Tivoli Gardens.G

The Lawrence Welk Show  "Songs of the 70's"  The cast sets the mood with "Tie a Yellow Ribbon." Johnny Zell and the band play "Feelings." Guy and Ralna sing "I Write the Songs", and Ava Barber sings "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue."G
