Dialogue for Kids  "Idaho Ecosystems"  Idaho has many different ecosystems, including forests, wetlands, deserts and grasslands. Why are these different ecosystems important to the plants and animals in the state? Why are they different? How are they the same? Joan Cartan-Hansen and her guest scientists, Beth Paragamian, North Idaho Wildlife Education Center Manager and Adare Evans, Wildlife Educator, Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game, will answer questions about Idaho's ecosystems.G

WordGirl  "The Invisi-Bill Hand/Birthday Town"  The Invisi-bill Hand - When Invisi-Bill and Big Left Hand Guy team up, Invisi-Bill quickly becomes jealous when he doesn't get any publicity for being the true villain that he is. WordGirl uses his need for fame to trick him into revealing himself. Birthday Town - At "Mr. Big's Birthday Time All the Time Party Supply Store" all of the parents are going crazy! They think every day is their child's birthday. D

Wild Kratts  "Elephant in the Room"  The brothers come across a lone baby elephant and bring him back to the Tortuga HQ for safety until they can find his mom. But they learn how mischievous baby elephants can be and get more than they bargained for when it almost destroys the Tortuga! As they rush to get the baby elephant home, the WildKratts team realizes that animals have different structures that serve various functions in growth and survival. And an elephant's trunk is like the multipurpose tool of "creature features" with hundreds of uses, including: showering, blasting water, grabbing, lifting, communicating, "hearing", pushing and pulling. Cyberchase  "The Secrets of Symmetria"  (topic: Symmetry) - In his passion for symmetry, Dr. Marbles has created Symmetria, a harmonious cyberplace where everything is made symmetrical by a symmetrizer. Hacker steals the machine and reprograms it so that he can undo symmetry. The kids must master the properties of symmetry before Hacker destroys beauty, balance and harmony throughout all of cyberspace! The Big Idea: Symmetries are patterns you can find hidden within many objects that create balance, order, and a pleasing regularity in the world around us. D

Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman  "The Legend of Ruffman's Gold"  Ruff's ancestor Gus Ruffman is believed to have hidden gold in an abandoned mine somewhere in Colorado. He sends Marc, Jay, and Rubye to solve clues, find the mine, and most importantly, find the gold!. D

Independent Lens  "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey"  Kevin Clash's one career goal is to be a puppeteer and work with his idol, the late Jim Henson. In his teens, Clash designs and crafts his own puppets to give public performances in his home town, Baltimore, Maryland. Clash soon comes to the attention of Muppet designer Kermit Love and joins Henson on SESAME STREET where he continues to achieve his dreams "Being Elmo," plus several other characters. Whoopi Goldberg narrates.G

Mister Rogers & Me   After a chance meeting with the then-retired Fred Rogers (MISTER ROGERS), Benjamin Wagner, now a senior vice president at MTV and a singer/songwriter, years later goes on a personal journey with his brother Christofer Wagner, a television and music production professional. The brothers meet with television news personalities, authors and others who knew and worked with Rogers to compile this intimate portrait of Rogers as a person and his belief in "deep and simple."G

Hoover Dam: American Experience   During the Great Depression, this dam project draws men desperate for work to a remote canyon near Las Vegas, Nevada. They struggle against brutal heat, choking dust and perilous heights to build a colossus of concrete that brings electricity and water to millions. It transforms the American Southwest and Idaho's Morrison-Knudsen Co., which is part of the construction consortium that builds it.G
