P. Allen Smith's Garden to Table  "The Emergence of Spring"  In this GARDEN TO TABLE episode, P. Allen Smith picks dandelions - not to make wishes but to create a salad! Allen also steps into the garden to plant asparagus. Plus, Allen makes an amazing tablescape using daffodils. D

Cuisine Culture  "Paul McCabe, San Diego"  Paul McCabe has earned himself "Best Rising Star Chef" from the James Beard Foundation because his cutting-edge dishes blend organic local California produce and self sustainable philosophies into a superb melange of French California Cuisine. His three -course meal includes a first course of Beet Salad with Caramelized Yogurt, Local Citrus, Valdeon Cheese and Candied Pistachios; a main course of California Lamb Loin over a bed of Farro, Heirloom Carrots and Asparagus, topped with a Spiced Pepper Jam; and dessert: a White Chocolate Panna Cotta served with Local Strawberries, drizzled in Rhubarb Consomme and crowned with Strawberry Snow. D

Che Sorpresa!"  Guy's garden yields bright orange carrots for Mary Ann to take nella cucina where she gives Bugs a run for his money by preparing a Carrot Salad with Sweet Red Peppers, a smooth and hearty Pureed Leek, Potato and Carrot Soup, and finally, and simply; Carrots in Vermouth. Eat your vegetables? You bet!. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Locavore In Napa with Joey Altman"  Sara travels to a beautiful vineyard in Napa, California to cook farm fresh meals locally sourced with Bay Area chef Joey Altman. They whip up Grilled Salmon, Arugula & Grilled Corn Salad and Sweet Pea & Avocado Crostini. With Grilled Duck Breast, Honey-Roasted Carrots, Farro-Herb Salad and Cider Jus, the best of the farm is on the plate. D

Essential Pepin  "Veg-In!"  Ragout Of Asparagus; Zucchini And Tomato Gratin; Cauliflower Gratin; Artichoke Hearts Helen; Corn Tempura. D

Ciao Italia  "White Asparagus/Asparagi Bianchi"  Mary Ann takes a good, long look at this elegant white vegetable before creating a spring-fresh Cream of Asparagus Soup, a crisp White Asparagus Salad, and an Italian favorite, Asparagus, Bassano del Grappo-style, topped with a rich, buttery egg sauce. One look at this snow-white gift from the garden and you'll be green with envy. D

Coastal Cooking with John Shields  "California Coastal"  Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium as special guests Susan Feniger & Mary Sue Milliken and prepare their Minted Calamari Salad. John then makes a Big Sur Fennel and Roasted Beet Salad with Walnuts and Gorgonzola Vinaigrette and Seared Scallops with Orange, Fennel and Polenta. D

11:00 pm 
Hubert Keller: Secrets of a Chef  "Salads The French Way"  Chef Keller creates the kind of wonderful and enticing salads you will find in bistros and brasseries throughout France. Mixed Green Salad with Pear, Almonds and Cheese Filled Baked Potato; Spinach Salad with Poached Egg and Polenta Croutons.G

11:30 pm 
Ciao Italia  "Succulent Strawberries - Fragole Succulente"  Mary Ann's just in time for an early summer harvest of plump, juicy, succulent strawberries from Guy's Garden. After sampling more than a few, she heads nella cucina to prepare an eye-popping-beautiful Strawberry Tart, and Arugola Spinach and Strawberry Salad. Then she delivers the surprise of all surprises, a creamy smooth Strawberry Risotto. D
