Ciao Italia  "Calzones! / Calzoni!"  Bread-baking guru Ciril Hitz visits Mary Ann nella cucina for a calzone bake-a-thon. Ciril starts things off with his signature Wild-Mushroom Whole Wheat Calzone and then creates a Summer Vegetable version. Mary Ann finishes the marathon with a savory, pork-filled Calzone. D

New Scandinavian Cooking  "Western Norway: A World of Apples"  Host Andreas Viestad visits Hardanger, the "apple orchard" of Western Norway. Andreas makes an apple drink and bakes a traditional sourdough bread in an old wood-fired oven and prepares a hot apple dessert. D

Bob Ross: The Happy Painter   BOB ROSS: THE HAPPY PAINTER presents a behind-the-scenes look at the beloved public television personality's journey from humble beginnings to an American pop-culture icon. THE HAPPY PAINTER reveals the public and private sides of Bob Ross through loving accounts from close friends and family, childhood photographs and rare archival footage. Interviewees recount his gentle, mild-mannered demeanor and unwavering dedication to wildlife, and disclose little-known facts about his hair, his fascination with fast cars and more. D

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 8 of 16"  General contractor Tom Silva finishes up the last of the structural work by replacing an undersized and partially rotted old post in the kitchen. Meanwhile, window restoration specialist Alison Hardy reinstalls the restored historic window sashes in the dining room, adding spring-action hardware and weather stripping to make them more efficient. In the garage, host Kevin O'Connor finds electrician Allen Gallant upgrading the electrical service to 100 amps so it can function as a workshop. D

Grand View  "Channel Island National Park"  Baumann journeys into the Channel Islands National Park and experiences one of the most beautiful National Parks in America. Along the way he meets Tim Coonan, Island Fox biologist: Native American Julie Tumamait, who shares the stories of the Chumash People: Don Morris, Chief Marine Biologist: and Robert L. DeLong, Marine Mammal Expert. Baumann concludes the show by painting the ocean view from San Miguel Island. D

Simply Ming  "Master Sushi Roll"  Sushi is a Japanese specialty enjoyed all over the world, and is particularly popular here in America. Ming shares the basics of this simple and healthy specialty, and develops a Master Sushi Roll: this includes three different varieties of Nigiri made with Tuna, Striped Bass, and Ribeye, and two handrolls made with Tea-Smoked Salmon and Avocado and Grilled Shrimp Salad. Ming also creates two Maki Sushi made with Grilled Vegetables, Tea-Smoked Salmon and Cucumber. D

Democracy In America  "Civil Liberties: Safeguarding The Individual"  This program examines the First, Fourth, and Sixth Constitutional Amendments to show how the Bill of Rights protects individual citizens from excessive or arbitrary government interference, yet, contrary to the belief of many Americans, does not grant unlimited rights. D
