Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Resting Wren, Part 1"  In this opening segment Jerry blocks in the entire painting creating the backdrop for the wren. Starting with a tinted canvas, Jerry blocks in the sky using a vivid turquoise that will make the Wren pop. The foreground grasses are painted in loosely and much attention is given to paint a fence post and wooden rails as the center of interest on which the bird will perch. D

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 16 of 16"  As the Bedford project wraps up, landscape contractor Roger Cook and landscape designer Jenn Nawada Evans install both the new and old plant material, adjusted at the nursery for the change in the color of the house. In the kitchen, tile contractor Mark Ferrante installs the ceramic backsplash tile with a crackle finish that requires sealing three times to prevent seepage and staining through the cracks. In the dining room, interior designer Dee Elms is on hand as wallpaper hanger Mike Bradshaw starts installing the new hand-woven paper from Japan. D

Ask This Old House  "Staining A Cedar Fence; Installing Window Boxes"  Host Kevin O'Connor works with painter Mauro Henrique to stain a cedar fence. Then, general contractor Tom Silva helps a homeowner install window boxes; landscape contractor Roger Cook helps plant them. D

Team members use 3D stereoscopes to view millions of air photos of German territory, and are able to spot telltale clues that reveal hidden rocket bases. With 3D graphics NOVA recreates what WWII photo spies saw, and tells the suspenseful, previously untold story.G
