Scrapbook Soup  "Mini Albums - Small In Size - Big On Ideas."  We continue with the overriding theme of journaling and words, but the platform is albums in all shapes and sizes. We begin with a teeny micro album. Then, it's a keepsake album with lots of pockets. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Winter's Surprise, Part 2"  Continuation from the under-painting, demonstrating cast shadows and developing an atmosphere using warm and cool colors together. Jerry shows how to interweave patches of snow through a layering progress of darks to light. Then uses script brush to build groups of weeds throughout the painting. D

This Old House  "Essex 2012/13, Rustic Plaster, Advanced Septic"  Wallboard installer Brian Jones shows how he uses a panel lift to install ceilings singlehandedly. Rustic plaster and old beams complete the Old World look of the walls. Richard surveys what's new in the world of septic systems, and installs a self-contained membrane bioreactor system in the basement. D

This Old House  "Essex 2012/13, Wooden Ships & Shiplap Boards"  Norm visits Essex's last shipyard. Kevin and Tom build shiplap barn board walls and a mantel. Landscape architect Kellie Connelly and Roger show off the finished yard, and project architect Sally DeGan gives a tour of a home with accessible retrofits. D

The Woodwright's Shop  "Thomas Day, Cabinetmaker"  In the days of slavery, Thomas Day, a free black cabinetmaker in North Carolina, was one of the most respected artisans in the South. We'll look beneath the veneer on his furniture and discover his intriguing architectural work. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Standing Mirror"  The Standing Mirror in this episode of Rough Cut is one of Tommy's favorite projects, due to its simple design augmented by Paul Schurch's magnificent marquetry. On this episode's Road Trip, Tommy visits Schurch's studios in Santa Barbara, California, where Paul demonstrates basic marquetry. D

NOVA  "Smartest Machine On Earth"  This film profiles Watson, an IBM supercomputer, which competed against two "Jeopardy!" champions to prove its ability to mimic the human thought process. The film goes behind the scenes at IBM to provide a firsthand look at the technological feats and hurdles to develop Watson and the challenges artificial intelligence (AI) researchers face.G

Antiques Roadshow  "Spokane, WA - Hour Three"  Host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Bill Mercer visit the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture. Discoveries at the Convention Center include a circa 1900 Louis XIV-style clock acquired by the owner's grandfather, a Montana silver mine owner. An Idaho man brings an heirloom desk and chair used in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1857 to 1873 that is valued at $40,000. Part 3 of 3G

Priceless Antiques Roadshow   Host Fiona Bruce pulls some prizes from the archives. Jewelry expert John Benjamin recalls a memorable visitor in Belfast, Ireland. The show also details how some veteran specialists developed their gift of the gab.G
