Cyberchase  "When Penguins Fly"  Penguins can't fly - or can they? In Cyberspace, on one special night each year, the penguins of Penguia take flight to deliver gifts to young borgs across the virtual universe. For the first time ever, the CyberSquad's friend Fluff is participating, and invites his pals Matt, Jackie, Inez and Digit to join him in the impressive Penguin March. They head to the Ice Palace, where the gifts are made and where magic snowflakes are sprinkled on the penguins so they can fly. D

It's Sew Easy  "Dress for the Weather - Layering"  Be prepared for all kinds of weather. Joanne Banko, blogger and sewing educator, redesigns a simple pashmina to create a fashionable jacket. Couture designer Angela Wolf makes a lightweight fleece jacket that packs easily, then she shows how to serge a narrow rolled hem on a scarf. D

Best of the Joy of Painting  "Emerald Waters"  Bob Ross uses beautiful shades of Green that burst from the canvas in this exciting display of nature's wonder. D

A celebration of light, culture and tradition, the festival is a Chinese holiday more than 2, 000 years old. Joseph discovers that while the Taiwan Lantern Festival has its electric side, it also values the human touch. D

Samantha Brown's Places to Love  "Montreal, Canada"  From immersive to interactive, Montreal is a city that puts on a show of sheer artistry in practically everything that this city is involved with. From hidden-alleyway bicycle tours to the French-Canadian version of Little Italy to its world famous Cirques Festivals to a distiller making gin out of locally sourced botanicals, Montreal both surprised and inspired Samantha in her travels visiting the "City of Saints." Only to be further awed, Samantha takes an evening walking tour of Old Montreal, where short films are digitally projected on the sides of historic buildings with the corresponding soundtrack being played through one's smartphone, which all celebrate Montreal's 375 year history. America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Mediterranean Sweets"  Test cook Dan Souza makes Bridget the ultimate olive oil cake. Gadget critic Lisa McManus reveals her favorite (and least favorite) gadgets, and Julia and Bridget uncover the secrets to making foolproof Bbaklava at home. D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Celestun - Coastal Cooking"  Pati's favorite way to experience a new place is on the arm of a local.
