Painting and Travel with Roger & Sarah Bansemer  "The Shed"  Roger and Sarah visit Brooksville, Florida and a nearby ranch . Roger sets up his easel and paints an old shed surrounded by cattle and hundreds of peacocks. D

Globe Trekker  "Sri Lanka & Maldives"  Megan McCormick begins her visit in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, where she samples the exotic cuisine. She tries stilt fishing at Weligama, visits a Buddhist temple in Matara, explores a topaz mine near Ratnapura, tours an elephant orphanage in Pinjnewala, and takes part in Esala Perahera, Sri Lanka's biggest festival. Her trip ends on Dhangethi, one of the spectacular Maldive Islands, where she encounters exotic tropical fish and lush foliage.G

Great Performances at the Met  "La Rondine"  Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna, opera's charismatic real-life duo, team up in this ravishing romance from the world's most popular opera composer. Gheorghiu plays the kept woman who gambles on true love, and Alagna is the man who makes her question the cost of her glittering existence. Nicolas Joel directs this new production of Puccini's gorgeously melodic look at love. D

Great Performances  "Memphis"  Winner of the 2010 Tony Award for Best New Musical, "Memphis" turns the radio dial back to the 1950s to tell the story of a white DJ named Huey Calhoun (Chad Kimball), whose love of music transcends racial lines and airwaves. His romantic interest is Felicia Farrell (Montego Glover), a young black singer whose career is on the rise, but who can't make the break out of segregated clubs on her own. When the two collaborate, her soulful sound reaches radio audiences everywhere, and the golden era of early rock & roll takes flight. D
