Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Digging The Deep/Puddle Puzzle"  Digging The Deep - Nick and Sally are exploring how deep they can dig in the sandbox. The Cat arrives to whisk them away to the deepest place he knows - the bottom of the Swirly Whirly Ocean! They meet up with Aurilia the Angler fish who guides them to the very bottom of the ocean floor. Now that they've gone as deep as deep can be, it's off to find the next adventure! Puddle Puzzle - Nick and Sally are excited to jump in the giant puddle in their backyard - but it's gone! Where did it go? With the help of Cat's Seussian camera, they see that the puddle has turned into water vapour. D

After several comical tries to persuade Mrs. Thimble to serve a different French delicacy, the mouselings finally decide that honesty is always the best policy!. D

This Old House  "Barrington Project, Part 5 of 10"  Landscape restoration specialist Kate Venturini arrives from the University of Rhode Island to create a sustainable coastal landscape with the help of local landscape contractor Henry Pereira. Builder Andy Tiplady finishes up the shingles and trim at the master bedroom porch just in time for local metalsmiths to install the custom copper gutter and scupper that will keep rain out of the space. Members of the URI Master Gardener's association lend a hand installing coastal tolerant and native plants on the site, while local sod grower Pat Hogan delivers a freshly harvested fescue/bluegrass blend that will require less water, less fertilizer and less maintenance overall. A global team of engineers work around the clock to rescue the trapped miners. Animations and interviews reveal the feats of engineering that successfully bring the miners safely to the surface.G

Oregon Field Guide  "Newberry Crater Geothermal"  A geothermal experiment outside Newberry Crater aims to get hot water out of a dry well with the hope of creating massive reservoirs two miles underground. The earth would heat the cold water injected into fissures in the rocks and pumps would bring the hot water back above ground for energy production.G

Lonesome George and the Battle for the Galapagos   Known as the loneliest animal on the planet, Lonesome George is the last remaining male of the Pinta Island Galapagos giant tortoise. Scientists have tried to match him to a mate but none have been acceptable. His story is told against the backdrop of the bigger conservation issues faced by the islands.G

Masterpiece Classic  "The Old Curiosity Shop"  Sir Derek Jacobi stars as the shop-owner grandfather, who falls into the clutches of a maniacal moneylender, Daniel Quilp (Toby Jones). Grandfather's orphaned granddaughter, Nell (Sophie Vavasseur), leads him across rural England to escape Quilp, in a desperate odyssey that blends strange characters and haunting images.G

New Tricks  "Objects of Desire"  An old flame, DCI James Larson, comes to ask Sandra Pullman to put her UCOS team on the trail of the murder of an antiques dealer, originally believed to have been bludgeoned to death during a bungled burglary. There is reason to believe the dealer was a police informant in return for the police turning a blind eye to his dodgier dealings.G

Buffalo Bill's American West   This exploration of Buffalo Bill Cody's legacy is told through iconic images and artifacts of the American West from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody. High-definition footage of artistic masterworks and narration by singer/songwriter Ed Bruce help paint a portrait of the man who embodied the spirit of the West, while telling the story of western expansion.G
