Painting and Travel with Roger & Sarah Bansemer  "South Haven Lighthouse"  Sarah and Roger go to Michigan and see the South Haven Lighthouse which Roger paints. Sarah tours the Friends' Good Will tall ship and the Michigan Maritime Museum. D

Sew It All  "Serger Crochet, Ellen Osten"  Emulate the look of crochet by using a serger. D

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting  "Scrappy Triangles"  Marianne and Mary share with you several different ways to make half square triangles. D

Hometime  "Stone Cottage - Porch Railing"  The metal railing gets built, sandblasted, powder coated and installed while the garage walls and ceiling are paneled. D

Woodsmith Shop  "Ribbon Handle Box"  The Woodsmith editors pack a lot of woodworking into a small project as they share the ins and outs of building a beautiful box. You'll learn tricks for fitting a lid and getting super-strong miter joints. Plus, they'll let you in on the secret to adding a flowing, wood ribbon handle to wrap it up.G

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 8 of 16"  General contractor Tom Silva finishes up the last of the structural work by replacing an undersized and partially rotted old post in the kitchen. Meanwhile, window restoration specialist Alison Hardy reinstalls the restored historic window sashes in the dining room, adding spring-action hardware and weather stripping to make them more efficient. In the garage, host Kevin O'Connor finds electrician Allen Gallant upgrading the electrical service to 100 amps so it can function as a workshop. D

4:00 pm 
Ask This Old House  "Fixing a Kitchen Sink Drain; Quieting Squeaky Hardwood Floors"  Plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey travels to Georgia to fix a kitchen sink drain. Then Richard, along with host Kevin O'Connor, landscape contractor Roger Cook and general contractor Tom Silva, asks "What Is It?" Afterward, Tom helps a homeowner quiet his squeaky hardwood floors. D

Growing a Greener World  "Back to School; Learning to Be An Organic Farmer"  "Green Acres is the place to be; farm living is the life for me". You might remember that jingle to the opening of the popular series; Green Acres from decades ago. But today, that same desire is alive and well and spawning "Organic Farm Schools" all over the country. D

Moyers & Company  "Reckoning with Torture"  In somber observance of Memorial Day, we look at actions by our government that flaunt the values of honor and decency our soldiers sacrifice so much to uphold. After 9/11, the U.S. government turned to torture -- in defiance of domestic and international laws -- to extract information about and from terrorists and others who might follow after them. D

William and Mary   Widowed father of two William Shawcross (Martin Clunes) falls for midwife Mary (Julie Graham) as soon as he sees her picture at an up-market dating agency. Their first date though reveals a few surprises.G

Oregon Field Guide  "Gorge Special"  This special examines how the 85-mile stretch of incredible scenery is being managed under the 1986 Scenic Act, which attempts to balance the stresses of tourism, recreation, wind energy development and a population boom. The program looks at the path to get the law passed by Congress, the race to save prized parcels of land from bulldozers, the rise of high-tech and recreation, and new threats from wind development and haze.G

National Memorial Day Concert   From the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, co-hosts Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna introduce a night of remembrance featuring dignitaries, actors and musical artists in performance with the National Symphony Orchrestra directed by Jack Everly. The concert honors veterans and those currently serving in all branches of the U.S. military.G

9:30 pm 
Krakatoa: The Last Days   Take a ringside seat at one of history's deadliest natural disasters with this docudrama based on eye-witness accounts and aided by computer graphics. The docudrama stars Rupert Penry-Jones, Olivia Williams and Kevin McMonagle and draws from personal accounts, photographs, newspaper articles and the latest scientific research. The 1883 volcanic eruption on the Indonesian island in the Sunda Strait is the second greatest volcanic eruption in recorded history spewing more than 18 cubic kilometres of tephra in less than 48 hours and killing more than 36,000 people.G

11:00 pm 
New Tricks  "The Gentleman Vanishes"  The UCOS team reinvestigates the disappearance of a leading scientist, whose wife has recently received a number of anonymous emails from someone claiming to know what happened to him.G
