A trip to meet three of Cat's friends (and some styling help from the Wig-o-lator) will help them decide! Should they have Yak hair? No, too hot! How about hair like a fur seal? Not quite, too short. A porcupine? No way! How will they ever get a hug from their moms with hair that spiky? They decide that the hair they have is what's perfect for them! Ice is Nice - Nick and Sally want some nice cold lemonade, but there's no more ice cubes in Sally's fridge! A trip to Freeze-your-knees Snowland will fix that! They meet Cat's friend Polly the polar bear who introduces Sally and Nick to all the different kinds of ice that make up her home. Dialogue  "Good Summer Reading 2012"  Marcia Franklin interviews authors Kim Barnes and Tim Cahill, who discuss their own work and writing styles, and recommend books for long summer days. Other favorite reading choices for summer have been submitted by viewers. Barnes is a University of Idaho English professor and author of five books. Cahill is a founding editor of Outside Magazine and author of 10 books.G

More than just good looks and what Legend has called a 'presumptuous' name, Legend's innate musical ear and talent for fusing his early gospel influences with hip-hop, jazz and even classical music, has found him working with top names such as Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Eve, Common, the Black Eyed Peas and longtime producer and friend, Kanye West. So adept at weaving myriad sounds and genres, Legend seems to have created a signature sound, if not genre, of his own. D

Music Voyager  "Roots, Rock, Reggae"  Jamaican reggae hit the world like a hammer in the 1970s, but where did reggae come from? How did this appealing, soulful sound develop, and where do the roots of this powerful tree extend? In this episode, Edgar explores the history of Jamaican music, from its African roots to the cusp of the reggae revolution. Edgar heads to the jungle for an entrancing kumina drumming session with the Akwaaba Drummers, that reveals the African underpinning of the island's music. Edgar is joined by Reggae Sunsplash founder Ronnie Burke on a journey across the island to Negril to meet Gilzene and the Blue Light Mento Band, who set up in a picturesque beachside setting to play some classic Jamaican mento. Masterpiece Mystery!  "Zen: Ratking"  When a wealthy industrialist and political party funder is kidnapped, Zen is assigned to get the hostage back alive at any cost. The kidnappers kill the lawyer who shows up with a ransom payment from the family. In kidnapping-plagued Italy, it is illegal to pay a ransom - an issue Zen must skirt while dealing with bickering relatives, who believe their wealth puts them above the law.G

New Tricks   Police detective Sandra Pullman must swallow her pride and make a success of a new unit, the Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad (UCOS), with a team of three retired former detectives who are slow to accept new police strategies. The unit's first case is a brutal 1987 murder of a young police woman, whom Pullman knew when both were in training.G

MI-5   With help from Home Secretary William Towers, Harry returns to work on a provisional basis after being on leave because of trading a state secret for Ruth's safety. Now Towers tells Harry that his Russian opposite, Llya Gavrik, has been smuggled into England along with his wife, Elena, a former asset of Harry's. Gavrik is proposing a partnership between Russia and the United Kingdom without the Americans knowing. Then Section D learns of a kill order by the Chechens on Gavrik.G
