We explore the amazing grilled octopus at Tres Virgenes in La Paz and enjoy mesquite-grilled lamb with 9-chile mole sauce. D

The Woodwright's Shop  "The Till in the Tool Chest"  We'll delve into the drawers in search of the secret of an old tool chest. The quality of the tools shows that it belonged to a first-class joiner back in the early 1800s, but the dovetail joints break all the rules. D

Woodturning Workshop  "Captive Ring Goblet"  Legend has it that newly married couples were given a goblet with captive rings as a wedding gift. As long as the rings remain intact, so will the marriage. Tim shows you the trick of turning the goblet and rings from one piece of wood. D

Artifacts & Fiction: Workshop In American Literature  "Workshop 7. Ritual Artifacts"  From Victorian calling cards to Puritan gravestones, ritual artifacts reveal how humans create and define order in their lives. This session explains how to apply close reading skills to sacred and secular ritual objects to enrich understanding of the cultural setting of a literary text. D
