On Story  "A Conversation with Mark Frost"  Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost talks about the impact of the original cult favorite show, collaborating with David Lynch, updating the series for a less innocent era, and exploring the human condition as a narrative story on screen. Frost is a novelist - with more than 10 books to his name - director, film producer, and screenwriter whose credits include the seminal police drama Hill Street Blues. D

Cyberchase  "When Penguins Fly"  Penguins can't fly - or can they? In Cyberspace, on one special night each year, the penguins of Penguia take flight to deliver gifts to young borgs across the virtual universe. For the first time ever, the CyberSquad's friend Fluff is participating, and invites his pals Matt, Jackie, Inez and Digit to join him in the impressive Penguin March. They head to the Ice Palace, where the gifts are made and where magic snowflakes are sprinkled on the penguins so they can fly. D

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting  "Darling"  Marianne Fons plays with value in the Shoofly blocks, alternating her Triangle-Square placement to create dark-side-in or light-side-in quilt blocks. Marianne joins Sara Gallegos to teach you how to work with those Triangle-Squares, as well as how to easily create continuous bias binding for the sweet, three-sided, scalloped border. D

Paint This With Jerry Yarnell  "The Umbrella Man, Part 1"  Acrylic Medium on 16x20 stretched canvas. In this opening segment, Jerry explains to his viewers the process of creating atmosphere in a painting. Then he shows how to apply a mottled background using the hake brush. D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"  Pati invites a few of her girlfriends over for a much needed "girls' night in." But these girls are here to GRILL! Grilling isn't just a guy thing - Pati's got a great outdoor grill, and she's gonna put it to work by cooking up a mouth-watering menu of Mexican food with a BBQ twist. One of Pati's sisters shows up to help her mix some drinks too! Host Pete Evans joins the chefs for visits to a South Carolina plantation, which produces some of the finest vegetables and rye in the area. They also embark on a trip to an innovative farm looking to feed and train the people of tomorrow and teach them to grow sustainable foods. D

Simply Ming  "Sarah Grueneberg"  Michelin star and James Beard Award-winner, chef Sarah Grueneberg comes in from Chicago to join Ming in his loft kitchen. Sarah whips up a tortelli verdi, her restaurant Monteverde's signature dish, while Ming makes a garlic chive wonton with a double ginger chicken broth. All that and more, this week on Simply Ming. D

Mike Colameco's Real Food  "Chinatown/ Wilson Tang Nom Wah Tea Parlor"  Wilson Tang Nom Wah Tea Parlor is the oldest continuously operated Dim Sum restaurant in the country. Located on historic Doyer street the Tang Family has owned it since the 60s and now grandson Wilson has taken it into the 21st century. We'll spend a day with him at Nom Wah and take a walk around the 'hood to see it from his eyes.G

Equitrekking  "Vermont"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman visits the Mountain Top Inn outside of Killington to explore the area's Green Mountains trails and learn the art of driving with two large Clydesdales. At the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm, Darley experiences the smooth gaits of the Icelandic horse on a multi-day inn-to-inn ride through meadows, woods and old farm lands in the Mad River Valley. Next, Darley visits the University of Vermont's Morgan Horse Farm to learn about Vermont's state animal and UVM's historic breeding program, which dates back to 1878. D
