Hey Kids, Let's Cook  "Taco Salad"  Who doesn't love tacos? A healthy Mexican meal that includes the meat, lettuce, cheese, and salsa all stuffed together in a crunchy shell. And today we're going to show you a little twist to that recipe, it's taco salad. D

Ciao Italia  "Have A Cookie/Avere Un Biscotto"  Cookie jar empty? Time for Mary Ann make the most delicate Orange-Scented Madeleines you've ever tasted. But she doesn't stop there. The enticing smell of fresh-baked Little Hazelnut Cookies soon fills the kitchen and fills her cookie jar as well. D

New Scandinavian Cooking  "The Coast of Mid Norway: Shellfish Eldorado"  Host Andreas Viestad visits some of the richest fish banks in mid-Norway and then prepares a seafood dish with native scallops, crabs and lobster. The region also holds some of the most modern aquaculture for salmon and mussels - and Andreas makes the most of these ingredients. D

Rick Steves' Europe Classics  "Israel"  Rick visits Jerusalem, home to ancient holy sites of Jews, Christians, Muslims and Armenians. He also travels to the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, Jericho and the desert mountain fortress of Masada.G

Grannies On Safari  "Varanasi - India's Spiritual Capital & Bangalore - A Commercial Star"  The Grannies make a pilgrimage on bicycle rickshaws to the "Ganga Ma" or Mother Ganges, a place of life and death revered in the Hindu religion. They observe day and evening celebrations, rituals and even participate. They visit a factory famous for Varanasi silk and of course shop! A quick flight to Southern India and to the city of Bangalore, a known major tech metropolis, brought new experiences. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Color"  Smith shows the impact of the use of color and reveals unique tropical plants in the greenhouse. He invites Mother Nature in for dinner and explores the colors around the Garden Home Retreat.G

This Old House  "Barrington Project, Part 1 of 10"  The THIS OLD HOUSE crew opens the Barrington, Rhode Island, project aboard the motor sailor Liberty bound for the Ocean State via scenic Narragansett Bay. On Barrington Beach, homeowner Geoff Allen shows master carpenter Norm Abram and host Kevin O'Connor why they bought their 1925 modified cape - not for its 1950s and 1970s-era additions, but for the outstanding location. Inside, his wife, Michelle Forcier, shows Kevin that the kitchen has not been remodeled in decades, and how they hope to remove everything that is outdated and open up the new space to the beautiful water views. D

Primary Sources: Workshops In American History  "The Lowell System: Women in a New Industrial Society"  In the earliest days of American industry, the Boston Manufacturing Company created an innovative, single-location manufacturing enterprise at Lowell that depended on the recruitment of female mill workers. This workshop debates the impact of this new form of employment on workers - for better or for worse. Participants investigate the workers' experiences first-hand, through diaries, letters, published accounts, and official mill postings.G
