Tom runs a custom profile for the chair rail and both copes and miters the corners as it is installed. Interior designer Christine Tuttle makes tile selections at a local showroom. D

This Old House  "Arlington Italianate Project 2014/Soapstone, Marble, Oval Picture"  Countertop contractor Michael Parodi creates final edge detail for soapstone countertops. Tile contractor Mark Ferrante cuts down 12-inch marble tiles to make a crisp-looking wainscoting. Norm visits the oldest continuously operated mill site in America where David Graf makes an oval mirror frame for the Arlington house using 150-year-old power tools. D

Victory Garden's EdibleFEAST   Chef Daniel Klein is on the road to South Carolina to learn about the value of heirloom seeds and how they produce flavorful and sustainable food. After that, it's time to explore community supported rooftop gardens in Brooklyn and the Bronx, New York, before heading back to the Victory Garden. Roger Swain plants potatoes and leeks, while Chef Marian Morash makes a garden-to-table rhubarb crisp. D

Dialogue  "Remembering The Holocaust"  Host Marcia Franklin talks with Marion Blumenthal Lazan, who works to educate people about Nazi Germany's Holocaust and her experiences as a survivor. She is the co-author of a young adult book about her experiences called Four Perfect Pebbles and the subject of the documentary Marion's Triumph: Surviving History's Nightmare. Lazan was imprisoned for more than six years in four camps, including the Bergen-Belsen camp, where Anne Frank died.G

In The Americas with David Yetman  "Whistles in the Mist: Whistled Speech In Oaxaca"  The Chinantecan people of mountainous northern Oaxaca, Mexico, speak by whistling as well as by talking. Yetman visits their isolated community and observes how they use whistled speech to supplement, and sometimes replace, spoken speech.G

PBS NewsHour Weekend   On Sunday, NewsHour Weekend reports from Mexico, a place often in the headlines for its brutal drug war. Correspondent Martin Fletcher shows a different side of the country: its burgeoning economy. Some economists call it the "Aztec Tiger" -- Mexico's now the third biggest trading partner with the US. Outdoor Idaho  "Backroad Adventures"  There's something mighty fine about a dirt road. And if you're willing to get off the pavement, Idaho's back roads will take you to some hidden gems. The Owyhee Uplands National Backcountry Byway, in southwestern Idaho; the Magruder Corridor, between two northern Idaho wilderness areas; and the Lolo Motorway, that follows portions of both the Nez Perce and Lewis & Clark trails -- if you can endure the bumps, these roads will provide the adventure!G

Oregon Field Guide  "Corn Maze; Black Rock Mountain Biking; Hot Air Balloons"  A Portland graphic artist designs an annual corn maze to confuse people as much as possible. Then a bike-only trail system is chock full of ramps, banks, aerial log rides and other features. And a handful of Oregon balloonists are making their own hot-air balloons.G

Spies Beneath Berlin   Personal accounts combined with new scientific and historical analysis piece together the full story of a remarkable top-secret mission that CIA Chief Alan Dulles would later describe as "one of the most valuable and daring operations ever undertaken." The mission is to construct a spy tunnel into the heavily guarded Soviet sector of the German city during the Cold War.G

New Tricks  "The Sins of the Father"  Brian Lane knows his days at UCOS are numbered. Meanwhile the team investigates a 16-year-old murder of a young mum by her criminal husband that could be a miscarriage of justice. However Gerry Standing feels very strongly that the conviction should not be called into question.G
