6:11 pm
The Poodle Trainer   rina Markova, a solitary Russian poodle trainer, reveals her transcendent relationship with her dogs, the childhood tragedy that sparked a lifetime of working with animals, and the welcome isolation behind the red velvet curtains of the circus. D

6:30 pm
Digital Doctors: The Future of Healthcare   The Future of Healthcare explores how doctors can virtually be present at your workplace, home, and even a shopping mall. See how technology is putting doctors and patients face to face through thousands of miles apart. Meet a Central Valley optometrist who's teaming up with an UC Berkeley researcher to prevent blindness in a rural town. D

7:00 pm
Global Voices  "Peace Versus Justice"  When the International Criminal Court was established, it was championed by human-rights crusaders as a long-overdue end to impunity. But what if the victims of heinous crimes don't want the court's version of justice? PEACE VERSUS JUSTICE takes a critical look at the problems of applying Western conceptions of justice to other countries and continents. D

8:00 pm
Outdoor Idaho  "Working for Wildlife"  Professionals and volunteers are in forests and fields - even cities - throughout Idaho working to increase knowledge about wildlife and its chances for survival. Cameras capture "deer tackling" in eastern Idaho; follow scientists and volunteers through deep snows to radio collar the seldom-seen elusive wolverine; and visit a woman raising orphan bears in her backyard in Garden City, adjacent to Boise.G

8:30 pm
Undamming The Elwha   The KCTS9/EarthFix documentary tells the story of the Elhwa River, once dammed, now set free, following the determination that two 100-year-old dams were failing. The film includes historical photos and footage as well as interviews with those involved in the construction, operation and removal of the lower dam, the largest dam ever to be removed in the United States. Some of the footage used in the film is supplied by IdahoPTV and EarthFix Idaho reporter Aaron Kunz.G

9:00 pm
The Apple Pushers   The Apple Pushers, narrated by Academy Award nominee Edward Norton, follows immigrant street vendors who are rolling fresh fruits and vegetables into the inner cities of New York (where finding a fresh red ripe apple can be a serious challenge). These pushcart vendors, who have immigrated here from all parts of the world for different reasons, and who all have sacrificed so much to come to this country (a near fatal crossing of the Mexican border, as an example) are now part of a new experiment in New York to help solve the food crisis and skyrocketing obesity rates in the inner city. D

10:11 pm
Ocularist   An ocular prosthetician unites the dexterity of a skilled craftsman with an artist's textural caress in his unique creations: custom acrylic eyes so vibrantly alive it seems a cruel twist of fate that they are unable to see. D

10:19 pm
The Poodle Trainer   rina Markova, a solitary Russian poodle trainer, reveals her transcendent relationship with her dogs, the childhood tragedy that sparked a lifetime of working with animals, and the welcome isolation behind the red velvet curtains of the circus. D
