Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Morning Fog, Part 1"  (16x20 Acrylic) This painting illustrates how - as an artist - you can create atmosphere in a painting; and, in this case, morning fog at the beach. Jerry starts this picture using the Hake brush and covers the canvas with a light layer of gesso and then tints the canvas with Hooker's green. The background is then warmed with burnt sienna. D

Pedal America  "In Search of the Raystown Ray - Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania"  Learn the story of The Allegrippis Trail System at Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania as Ira David introduces mountain biking to beginners while hoping to catch a glimpse of this town's version of the Loch Ness Monster. D

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 14 of 16"  General contractor Tom Silva shows master carpenter Norm Abram how he's restoring the circa 1720 raised panel front door with flexible epoxy and a new paint job. Countertop installer Danny Puccio is on hand as the 1,300-pound marble island top is hefted into the kitchen, and kitchen designer Kathy Marshall shows how the hole in the marble will accommodate a concealed compost bin. Plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey shows host Kevin O'Connor how he's upgrading the ducted HVAC system to go from one zone to three with the help of a plug-and-play zone damper system that makes retrofits and zoning a hot air system easy.
