Landscapes Through Time with David Dunlop  "American Impressionists In Old Lyme, Ct"  Old Lyme, CT was a popular artist colony at the turn of the century with many painters who had also painted in Paris and Giverny, learning the new trends from the French avant-garde. David takes us to the Florence Griswold Museum garden and demonstrates how American Impressionists create the sensual experience of interwoven color, texture, and movement from a palette of complementary colors painted outside or en plein air, a term made popular during this time. D

Chef's Life  "Liver Lover"  Vivian visits a restaurant known for fried liver and learns that not all livers are created equal, but all are equally good for you. Mrs. Scarlett's humble beef liver and onions inspires Vivian to add a fancy, controversial liver dish to the menu. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "Guatemala, Part 2"  In Guatemala part two, Burt tours the most famous Maya crafts market in Central America, visits Lake Atitlan in the Sierra Madre mountains, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful locations in the Americas. He (carefully) investigates an active volcano, learns how coffee is grown and processed in the high mountains, reviews the history of coffee, learns about an ancient Maya ball game that looks a lot like basketball. He interviews Richard Hanson, one of the world's leading authorities on early Central American culture and tours Guatemala City, the country's capital. D

Lidia's Kitchen  "The Dessert Table"  In today's episode, Lidia shares three of her favorite desserts-one spoon dessert, one seasonal fruit based dessert and of course a baked sweet to warm up the kitchen. Her limoncello tiramisu is a sweet pick-me-up made with delicious limoncello zabaglione. Fruit is a natural as an Italian sweet to end a meal, and she loves to simply serve grilled fruit to magnify their natural sweetness. D

Jim makes tasty tamales, learns about iron work and creates an artistic journal with celebrity artist Pam Holland. D
