The Desert Speaks  "Argentina: Ancient Patagonia People"  Host David Yetman and Argentine archeologist Maria Jose Figuerero journey through the gorgeously diverse Patagonia landscape for a look at the Patagonian people from ancient to modern times. The travelers stop at the Cuerva de los Manos ("Cave of the Hands"), which features a lasting glimpse into the lives of early residents. The famous stenciled handprints were created by blowing through a straw-like instrument filled with paint, while the images of lizards, people and the hunting of huanacos (a relative of the llama) were painted by hand. D

Pati's Mexican Table  "Merida - Exploring with the Locals"  The Yucatan Peninsula is known for its vast jungles, underground cenotes, pristine beaches, ancient architecture and sensational food. With the help of local friends and chefs, Pedro Evia and David Cetina, Pati gets an inside look at Merida, the capital of Yucatan. Pati explores the forefronts of molecular gastronomy, botanas "bar snacks" like chaya empanadas filled with gooey Edam cheese at a cantina, family classics like mondongo stew at the market, and even foreign influences like Kibi. Chef Staib delves into the stories: how they lived, worked and ate on the Champs Elysees of Philly: South Second Street. The Berley Brothers of Shane's Candy join Chef Staib to share the history of ice cream making above this centuries-old candy shop. D

Michael Scelfo, owner and chef of Alden & Harlow, named one of the best new restaurants by Bon Appetit, joins Ming to make three game-changing hummus dishes. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "Daniel's Birthday/Daniel's Picnic"  Daniel's Birthday - It's Daniel's Birthday! Daniel is very excited to go to Baker Aker's Bakery with his mom to pick out a cake for his party. When they arrive home after a bumpy ride on Trolley, Daniel is disappointed to find that his cake is smushed. It turns out. D

Dinosaur Train  "Laura The Giganotosaurus/Dinosaur Poop!"  Laura the Giganotosaurus - Buddy spends time with Laura Giganotosaurus, a large dinosaur who always rides the Dinosaur Train and, like Buddy, is a three-toed theropod! Buddy also discovers that Laura is an avid bird-watcher. Dinosaur Poop! - Buddy and Tiny learn that all creatures poop, even really big dinosaurs. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Little Lemmings/Keep The Beat"  Little Lemmings - It's cold outside, but Nick and Sally want to keep playing. Is there a way to stay warm out in the cold? Cat's friend Lars the Lemming will know! He lives in the Wundra-Bundra-Tundra. It's cold out, but with Lars' fur coat, he doesn't even notice! They help Lars find a new home, one where there's more food for him and his family and they discover that he uses the snow to help keep him warm! Back at home the kids wear two winter coats to help them keep warm. D

WordGirl  "Staycation/Dr. No-Voice"  Staycation - The Botsford Family is excited for their big, tropical vacation. A week of relaxation is very much needed, especially for a tired WordGirl! However, their plans get ruined when a big snowstorm cancels their flight. Mr. Botsford decides they're going to make the best of it by having a tropical(ish) vacation inside their own house! But that vacation gets put in jeopardy, too, when Mr. Big unveils his latest mind control scheme, causing Becky's vacation to become anything but relaxing. D

The Mind of a Chef  "Ocean"  Watch David take the muscular abalone and transform it into something soft and supple in abalone porridge, one of his signature dishes. Surfing inspires another signature dish, and a visit with Eric Ripert highlights the simple elegance of sashimi. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Italy's Veneto: Verona, Padua, and Ravenna"  Rick visits three great cities. Padua is famed for its university, Giotto frescoes, and pilgrim-packed Basilica. Verona is a hit with aficionadoes of Roman ruins and Romeo and Juliet fans.G
